Item’s, item Songs everywhere

Telugu cinema industry seems to be spinning in a new wave. Gone are the days when the film used to run for actors and actress like Savithri, Krishna Kumari and Anjali Devi. Then a trend started to bank on the heroine’s shapes and sizes. Rambha, Ramyakrishna, Roja, Meena, Nagma and Divya Bharathi (for a brief period) entered into the film industry.

But now the trend is catching up with the item girls. No matter how dull the script, casting and the music is, if the film has an item song of Mumaith, Abhinayasri or Kaushya it is for sure that it can get back its investments.

Following Mumaith Khan, now another item girl turned actress Abhinayasri is going to come up in a full fledged role of a police officer. Her next film “Bhairavi” is a film with a cop story and Abhi is going to don a cop role. Spicy items are no more an ornament for an item girl. These movies as full fledged roles expose their acting skills to a large extent and hope this movie will make Abhi surpass the laurels of Mumaith
