Audio of Balakrishna's Pandurangadu released in Machilipatnam of Krishna dist. This is the place that has a temple of Panduranga Swamy. The function is held in the evening. This became a day trip for Balakrishna in the Krishna Dist. He made a quick stop in the morining to unveil a statue of NTR.
The function is attended by Balakrishna, K.Raghavendra Rao, K.Viswanath, Sneha, Suhasini, Veda (Archana), JK Bharavi and others. Krishna dist collector Sailaja released the audio of the film.
Award winning writer Sudhala Ashokteja wrote Hey Krishna and Amma song in the film. He spoke and excited the audience with his talk. He referred to Balakrishna as Balakrishna through his talk and then said, 'Normally we should say Balakrishna garu but there is a strong reason behind why I referred to him as Balakrishna. We refer to Lord SriRama as Ramudu and not Ramudu garu.. Lord Krishna as Krishnudu and not Krishnudu garu.. Lord Venkateswara as Venkateswarudu and not Venkateswara garu. Similarly I referred to Venditera Ilavelpu Balakrishna as Balakrishna'. He further added that the film will show Balakrishna's Viswaroopam as both Vitudu and Vitaludu.
Heroine Sneha, who is playing the lead heroine in the film, thanked the makers for giving her yet another opportunity to work with him. 'I am sure this film will become good hit like Sri Ramadasu. the film came out very well', said Sneha.
Director K.Viswanath, who is playing the father to Balakrishna in the film, said: 'It is very interesting working in the direction of K.Raghavendra Rao. Usually there is a feeling that K.Raghavendra Rao is deft in directing romantic songs. But this film will prove the depth in his directing the devotional song. Especially, the song that comes in the climax will touch anyone'. Siva Parvati, who is playing mother to Balakrishna in the film, thanked the makers for the opportunity. Clippings of the songs were played during the event. While the Amma song is played, Sudhala Ashokteja was in tears. An emotional Balakrishna hugged Sudhala Ashokteja. Also during a song rendered by a kid, all the people on the dias turned emotional and blessed the boy.
Finally, Balakrishna started his speech with Namo Krishna sloka from Panduranga Mahatyam (old film). He thanked the audience for their support to the Nandamuri family. He then offered his salutations to his father. He talked about the lacking of quality in the present trend of music. He also referred to the daily routine life and how the parents are ignored. 'After listening to these songs, I am sure people will go back to their parents. Telugu audience will always love novelty. I am always for novelty. I did that in Aditya 369, Bhairawadweepam and now Pandurangadu. I hope this film will entertain all my fans. Novelty in the industry started with NTR. Till date, novelty and versatility is only within the capacity of Nandamuri family. I will devote myself to achieve that expectations.
