Aarti Agarwal who recently married Ujwal Kumar in Arya Samaj returned to Hyderabad on Sunday. But on the first look itself, one can make out that she has doubled into a heavy cylinder in the recent months.

Pawan speaks on his political entry

Pawan Kalyan who is a busy person these days is gave a brief interview to our correspondent yesterday evening. He gave a hint that, he will surely enter politics if his brother hosts a political party and if at all he becomes a Chief Minister.

It is already a known fact that Pawan, Nagababu, Allu Arvind are making all the preparations for megastars political entry and it is already imagined that if in case Chiru gets elected as a Chief Minister, then Allu Arvind will become home minister and Nagababu will become a finance minister and Pawan will be a party advisor. On Thursday last week Pawan had a secret meeting with Gaddar and on Saturday evening Pawan met a congress leader of Rayalseema.

So Pawan agreed that these all news items are true and said that he was interested a lot in politics from his childhood and will enter politics in the coming elections and will strive for the up-liftment of poor and destitute people

Three National Awards for Tollywood

Prestigious National Awards for year 2006 were announced this morning (June 10, 2008) in New Delhi. Three Telugu films bagged the awards. Nandita Das starrer Telugu film – Kamli, directed by KNT Shasthry, won the Best Regional Film (in Telugu) award. D Ramanaidu starrer, Hope, was selected for the Best Film for National Integrity. Best Animated film went to Telugu movie – Kittu.

On other hand, heroine Priyamani won the coveted Best Actress Award for her portrayal of victim of rape in a Tamil movie - Parudhi Veerani.

Saikumar's Son to Be 'Modativadu'

It is a very common phenomenon in the Tollywood to introduce the children of heroes, comedians, producers and directors as heroes and technicians.Right from Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh till Allu Arjun, Ram Charan Teja, NTR, Tarakaratna, Kalyanram all these heroes had their parents who had attachment with film industry.

Now, it is the turn of Saikumar to introduce his son Aditya as hero.As Saikumar gave a big hit like 'Samanyudu' by playing a negative role in his movie, producer Venkat came forward to make a film on the banner of RR Movie Makers with a huge budget of Rs 14 crore with Aditya and Surender Reddy of 'Athanokkade, Ashok and Atithi'-fame agreed to direct the film.

Titled 'Modativadu' the flick, to be presented by K Achireddy, is all set to go to sets very soon.

Chiranjeevi’s name fetches 1200 crores

Chiranjeevi is the name which is enough for a film to succeed at the box office. Even if the film has nothing in it to say, this name is enough to make run for almost 100 days. In August this year is sure that Chiranjeevi will announce his political entry. But, will he come up with his own party or will join the present party; this is a fact which only time will confirm. But though his official confirmation is still not done, the party funds are already being gathered. It is reported by a Congress MLA of Nujiveedu that almost 1200 Cr party fund has been gathered by the TANA association, which is a Telugu NRI people’s association and it is said that they have gathered the second set of party fund and has deposited with Allu Aravind. The first set was almost 1400 cr and now the second set is 1200 cr.

The congress party MLA’s on the order of chief minister Rajshekhar reddy are keeping a wide eyes on Chiranjeevi and his close pals from the past three months. And the reports of these funds are digged out by them. With Balaya getting ready to take up the job of TDP working president ship it is also said that he may also gather almost 50-60 cr from his fans and NRI pals.

With this much amount of money pouring in, the income tax official will have a hands full of work this October after chiru’s party comes into existence and if Balaya officially joins TDP.

Superstar Rajinikanth and the Himalayas have been synonymous for many years now. Every time the matinee idol completes a film, he has the habit of traveling all the way to Rishikesh in the Himalayas for peace, quiet and loads of meditation.The superstar is planning to stay in heavenly company for 15 days and is to leave on the 5th of June.

The superstar is currently working with director P. Vasu for the film 'Kucheludu'. The movie kicked off at the Ramoji Rao film city in Hyderabad for a month and then shifted location to Pollachi.The crew then shifted base to Kerala where two songs were canned. One in Allepey and the other in Vembanadu lake. Nayantara and Mamtha Mohandas joined the superstar for the song sequences. The song sequence in Vembanadu lake was picturised with scores of snake shaped boats and the whole crew is ecstatic with the outcome.

The name Rajinikanth spelled magic in both locations in Kerala as thousands came to the shooting spot to see him creating problems for the heavy security presence there.As soon as the schedule in Kerala is complete, the superstar would be on a flight bound for New Delhi from where he would proceed to the Himalayas.

The much awaited train of megastar Chiranjeevi is expected to arrive finally on August 15 or August 22. This was disclosed by Chiranjeevi’s brother-in-law Allu Araind in Hyderabad last evening. Allu Aravind said that the name of the party would be ‘Labour Party’.

The flag will sport blue color on the top and red in the bottom. The name of the party will be in green letters. The party’s symbol will be ‘Train’. The agenda of the party is upliftment of the poor and the downtrodden. The party will include free power and free treatment to the poor.

A huge rally was taken out by some trade unions from Tank Bund to the Geetha Arts office in Jubilee hills.
