Junior NTR’s presence made a senior angry

Junior Ntr who along with his brother Kalyanram and his uncle Balakrishna, was delighted that he was accepted as a member of Nandamuri Khandhan at last, when he was given utmost respect at his grandfather’s birthday celebration yesterday. Sanjay Dutt-Manyata can finally wed legally

The Mumbai Sessions court has given permission to Sanjay Dutt to marry his love, Manyata. The court squashed Manyata's former husband Mehraj Shaikh's petition, nullifying his claims that he is legally married to her. It ruled that Manyata was legally divorced from Shaikh.

Sanjay Dutt and Manyata had wed in Goa and then again in Mumbai on February 11.Unfortunately, the marriage landed up in a heap of legal complications. First, the Goa registrar objected to Manyata's claim that she was a resident of Goa. Then, Manyata's former husband Mehraj claimed that he was still legally married to her.The court's decision has come as a big reprieve to Dutt and Manyata, whose marriage was nullified.

On hearing the news, Dutt expressed happiness over the judgement to the media at his home.Incidentally, Samajwadi party leaders Abu Asim Azmi and Amar Singh landed at Dutt's home when the news broke out. Their presence seems to be a mystery, as there is media speculation that Dutt was planning to contest Lok Sabha elections on a Congress ticket from the Mumbai North West constituency, which is being represented by his sister, Priya Dutt.

YS Jagan making his debut in tollywood along with Mahesh

YS Jagan, who is a successful businessman in Bangalore is making his steps right to enter tollywood film industry. Though he has a well built personality, along with a charming face, he is not willing to make his debut as a hero. Instead he is making his debut as a producer for a film which will feature Mahesh and Surya in the lead.This news was confirmed by him in a recent interview and he also revealed that Prince Mahesh and Tamil actor Surya have given their consent to act in his film provided that it starts in the year end. So Jagan will be taking some direction lessons under a well know director and will also assist his film’s director in making it spicier.

The director for this film is said to be VV Vinayak. It is a fact that Vinayak is a fan of YS Rajshekar Reddy and is willing to make a film on his life with a faction background.The film will start in the month of December this year and will be completed by March ending next year. It will be released during the election season in the year 2009.

With already the government -power in his hand, it is said that he will be making this film with a whooping cost of 48 crores. And is also thinking to rope in three bollywood actresses to feature in this film. The reason for his film industry entry is said to be his father, who is vexed up with Chandrababu Naidu and his whole acting khandhan’s japmala.

100 bodyguards to guard Mallika Sherawat

The Pondicherry schedule of 'Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azam' came to a standstill when thousands flocked the set to have a glimpse of Bollywood's most sought after glam girl Mallika Sherawat, who plays the female lead in the film and producer Ratan Jain had to hire 100 security men to keep them at bay.

Confirming the incident, Jain said: 'Yes the situation had become slightly desperate and before it could go out of hand, I immediately made arrangement for 100 security men. Mallika is the lead actress of my film. Hence she is my responsibility and it was my duty to see that there is optimum safety as a producer. I hired a local agency for her protection.'

Jain's repeated pleas to the people to keep their distance fell on deaf ears. The crowd just did not budge, refusing to keep their hands off Mallika.'This practically brought the shooting to a standstill. Fans kept gheraoing Mallika and refused to leave her alone. No matter what we did, they refused to leave and tried to come closer for a glimpse of the actress,' a unit member revealed.

bujjigadu finally turned average -to be brief "MUNNA" range..puri jaganath failed to reach the expectation.story line is normal as expected...in one word-sister-love-hero-brother is villian...

Prabhas plays the role of a hardcore fan of superstar Rajnikanth in the film. There are many scenes that show Prabhas expressing his love and admiration for his idol. Prabhas also speaks with a Tami accent and there are also several Tamil words in the film. It is only natural as the hero is shown as being brought up in the city.

Mohan Babu is one of the finest actors in Tollywood. It is with this in mind that director Puri Jagannath requested him to take up the role in the film. When Puri went to narrate the story to Mohan Babu, asked Puri to sum up his role in one just word. Puri told him that he was a 'rascal' in the film.

This was sufficient for Mohan Babu and he readily agreed to star in the film. He played the role of Trisha's sister. The name of Trisha's character in the movie is 'Chitti'. Prabhas performed very well as a Puri mark funny.it's a totally different charecter for prabhas.
1st and 3rd fights are highlight's of the movie,last song dance is awesome.
Nothing special to say about Trisha.Her makeup is awkward.
Music by Sandeep Chowta is not good.
There are some enjoyable witty one liners and overall comedy isn't upto the mark compared to Puri's earlier films.
Sunil did well,Ali appears in 3 different roles .

This film is not suitable for kids. Parents should know that this film is certified 'A', contains disturbing violence, and a graphic description of a woman's gang rape.

Dasavatharam to hit theatres on June 6

It’s official now — Dasavatharam will be released worldwide on June 6 with the highest number of prints ever for an Indian film. Speaking to media, the producer of the film Oscar Ravichandran said that the film is slated to be released initially in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

He explains, “It began like an ordinary movie but it assumed gargantuan proportions. I wasn’t weighed down by any pressure. However, the delay was getting on the nerves of the fans who have been waiting for long.”

Ravichandran is now busy working on the promos to be played out at the last leg of the IPL matches in Chepauk. Being an ardent devotee of the Lord at Tirupathi, he was tempted to release the film on Saturday June 7. But the movie had to be released on a Friday, considering the overseas market and the northern centres.” As he has on his prior film releases, Ravichandran will feed 1,000 poor children on the occasion.

Tanu rai displays her panty on TV

Tanurai, who made her debut in Telugu with “Itlu sharavani Subramanyam” opposite to Raviteja, later on had to be content with only second heroine roles. Kamal Haasan's breakthrough into lead acting came with his role in the 1975 drama, Apoorva Raagangal, in which he played a rebellious youth in love with an older woman. He secured his first Indian National Film Award for his portrayal of a guileless school teacher who tends a child-like amnesiac in 1982's Moondram Pirai. He was particularly noted for his performance in Mani Ratnam's Godfatheresque Nayagan (1987), which was ranked by Time magazine as one of the best films of all-time.

Kamal is the only actor to receive four National Film Awards in India. He won his National awards for the films Nayagan, Moondram Pirai and Indian. He also won the national award for Best Child Actor for his performance in Kalathur Kannamma. He has also received the best actor award at the Asian Film festivals held in 1983 and 1985 for Saagara Sangamam and Swathi Muthyam respectively. Seven of his movies have been sent as India's official entry to the Oscars. Kamal has won the Filmfare awards 18 times.

He was awarded the fourth highest recognition given to Indian civilians - the Padmashri in 1990. He was conferred an honorary doctorate by Sathyabama University, Chennai in 2005.

Kamal was also conferred with a unique honour this year(2007) as "Living Legend" in the film business by FICCI,India.

The all awards presented to him were for his artistic talent. He got the first Abraham Kovoor National Award for his Humanist Activities and Secular Life.

Kamal Hassan also was conferred the Nandi Award 20 times in his lifetime.

Another hero from Megastar family?

Chiranjeevi's family is all set to give one more hero to Tollywood. Last yer 2007 we saw Chiru's son Ram Charan Teja, and this year we will see Nagababu's son, Varun Babu. This teenager has gone through all the training need for that perfect launch. Nagababu is keen that his son is launched as a hero.

Sources tell us that a young director approached Nagababu with a script, which he has liked immensly. Now the script will be narated to Chiru, who will give the judgement word. If the Chiru is impressed by script, then the movie would go on floor very soon.

There has been no confirmation about this news from Chiru's family so far.

Aryan Rajesh signs a film after long gap. His new film was launched on Monday (May 19th) at Nanakramguda cine village, Hyderabad. Shraddha Arya (who made sizzling debut in Godava) is paired opposite him while Srihari is doing a pivotal character in it. The film is produced on Living Legendz Creations by L. Eeshwar and directed by Ramakrishna respectively.

Aryan Rajesh said he immensely liked the script. "I have waited for this film to come to me. After a gap of one and half years, I am doing this film because the story is impressed me. I am thrilled with the way the director is narrated with a simple thread. The director Ramakrishna has great promise," he said.

Srihari said: "Like in the movies that I did special characters, I have good role in this. When I went through the script and heard the narration, I was immediately convinced that I would get good name again."

Director Ramakrishna informed that the film deals about how a missed call changes one guy's life forever. "There is also a beautiful love story too," he added.

The gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan reportedly made the producers of Sarkar Raj shell out Rs.1 million for designer sunglasses for her look in the film.Apparently, Ash herself chose the glares that made a big hole in the producers' pocket. Obviously, the price tag left the production houses, K Sera Sera and Z Picture Company, reeling.

Ash plays Anita Rajan, an aggressive and ambitious business tycoon - she is the CEO of a power plant.ccording to a source from the production house, Ash was given a pair of designer glasses as part of her look in the Ram Gopal Varma directed film.

But the Bachchan bahu didn't like the sunglasses much and told the producers that she would get a pair for herself. It sounded fine, until the bill arrived.Ash didn't settle for anything regular. But Tabu finds it difficult to notice who is raping her. We have to see how far this rape-story works on Telugu screen.

She has acted in few films and has been noticed by many for her decent performance.The buxom Farzana has teamed up with Allari Naresh for films like 'Seema Sastry' and 'Bommana Brothers and Chandana Sisters'.

Yuvasamrat Nagarjuna may be lit bit a women charmer, but the latest reports suggest that he is being hooked by actress Roja for a favor. Some sources close to Roja say that, on last Wednesday she received a call from her TDP high command that she must propose to Nagarjuna, but the proposal will be that he has to contest or at least campaign for TDP.

Some sources also say that daily she is being pressurized by her high command people that by Hook-Or crook she must make this deal successful and in return she will get almost Rs. 5 crores to do so. From the past few weeks it is a fact that Nagarjuna is only attending those parties which are being swarmed by politicians and big wig socialites and already there is a rumor that he may join Chiranjeevi’s party if it takes it shape. So Chandrababu is making his own preparations to lure the tollywood into his political party and so is now making all arrangements to fetch them.

As a part of his plan, he directed Roja to lure Nagarjuna by her preaching’s, sayings, her curves or any kind of pleasing favor within 5 days and manage Nagarjuna to join TDP. Or else campaign for his party.
